There's a dog pen from the porch that goes around the side of the house. The dogs can go under the porch for shade. They can be confined to the pen, or just to the porch, or have access to both the pen and the porch. If you like a kitchen with lots of counter space, lots of storage, and where you aren't crawling around on your hands and knees looking for things in the back of a cabinet, then this is the kitchen for you! Talk about counter space -- that bar alone is 9' x 3'. It is wonderful for serving buffets, or using it for projects like cutting sewing patterns or quilting pieces, etc. Many like to just sit there and chat with the cook. There's a nice size window and lots of overhead lighting. The cabinets are made from Cherry wood. All are full-overlay with raised panel doors. The only base cabinets with doors are under the sink and on each side of the open shelves in the picture on the right. All the drawers are full extension. The silverware drawer is 30" X 21 3/4" X 3 1/2". The drawer on the right is a large one, 32 1/2" X 21 3/4" X 8 1/4". It holds things up to 10" tall. The smallest drawer bank is 24" and the rest are 31" to 36". There's 23 drawers! The stove is really nice. It has 5 gas burners of different sizes. The one in the middle can be used for larger pots or the griddle. The oven is electric, and it is also a convection oven. The drawer is an oven too. Not just a warming oven, it goes up to 450 degrees. Still need more storage? This 8' pantry behind the sliding mirrored doors has 48' of 16" shelving. You can easily add more if you need to. The shelves are extremely easy to adjust, with 1 1/4" increments. It's also simple to add or take out shelves. These are very sturdy built with 3/4" backing, instead of the usual 1/4". They range from 20" to 40". The picture on the left is what I call a family room. If you add a counter along the left wall and small refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffee pot, you'd be all set for late night snacks and toast & coffee in the morning. It's already wired for that. This room is great for crafts, games, t.v., reading, exercising, dancing, or just sitting and watching the deer in the yard. Right now it is being used for a sewing / quilting room, perfect! The other pictures show 3 of the 4 upstairs bedrooms. All of the bedrooms, like all the rooms in the house, have a nice view and they are bright and cheerful. The upstairs bathroom has a tub/shower combination. The Shop / Garage is located across the yard. If you decide to use it for business, there is plenty of room for customer's to park and it's far enough away to keep noise from bothering anyone in the house. It has drywall and a cement floor, and could be turned into a rental, if you'd like to do so. The fishing and swimming access to the river is only about 5 minutes from here. The property has plenty of flat areas and a nice, good size hill that runs the length of the property. The hill runs all along the tree line.
